★スマートフォンはYoutubeアプリで、パソコンからはGoogle Chromeでご覧下さい★ 肥満に対する偏見を払拭しようとする日本の女性アイドルグループ Pottya（ぽっちゃ）が注目を浴びている。メンバーの4人は、欧米人から見ると肥満に見えないかもしれないが、日本人女性の標準体重は超えている。 4人の平均体重は76キロで、同年齢の平均より約26キロ重い。4人は日本のスリム重視の風潮に気付いてもらいたいという。 このアイデアは成功しているようだ。4人はこれまでに2枚のアルバムを発表し、日本の音楽シーンで活躍の場を広げている。　＝東京（2016年12月5日）（ロイター） Girl group fights “fat” prejudice One Japanese girl band is gaining attention for their efforts to combat prejudices against obesity. The group calls themselves Pottya - slang for chubby. And while its four members are not seemingly overweight to Western eyes, they are all well above standard size in Japan. Weighing an average of 168 pounds (76 kg), the girls are roughly 57 pounds (26 kg) heavier than average Japanese women their age. The women hope to shine a light on, what they say is, their culture’s emphasis on being thin. And it seems to be working.
